Copper Basin Sanitation (CBS) began in March of 1990.  It was established by Sy & Carol Neeley through Copper Valley Construction Company (CVCC).  Starting in the 1960’s, the septage pumping was necessary for CVCC to do repairs and installations of septic systems.  In the mid ’60’s, the Neeleys had to dispose of solid waste from their trailer court along with the waste from the construction company.  This line of work was firmly established as more and more residences and businesses needed these types of service.
